Dalian Medical University (DMU), founded in 1947 and renamed in 1994, is a comprehensive medical university located in Lvshunkou District, Dalian since 2007. It focuses on medicine while also offering programs in science, engineering, management, art, law, and philosophy, and is part of Liaoning Province’s first-class university construction project. With over 9,800 faculty and staff—including many senior professionals—and more than 16,300 students, DMU hosts numerous national and provincial innovation teams, talent programs, and teaching platforms, and is a key participant in national medical education reform initiatives.
